IKEA Cooking & Eating Event
February 12th, 2026
An early spring evening in Zurich, where Scandinavian design met comforting flavours and tables were set with intention. IKEA Switzerland welcomed over 30 journalists and content creators to an intimate Cooking & Eating dinner and we were proud to support the event locally.
Seated around one beautifully curated table, our guests stepped into a setting designed to spark connection. Layered textures, soft florals and warm lighting created a space that felt both contemporary and inviting. Carefully selected Food & Beverage creations from the IKEA range completed the moment, celebrating the simple yet powerful pleasure of sharing a meal.
Entrusted with the conception and organisation of the event, we worked closely with the IKEA Switzerland team to bring their vision to life. From creative direction and storytelling to guest management, media relations and full on-site coordination, each detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a seamless flow.
A highlight of the evening was the hands-on Butter Workshop in collaboration with Butteria. Whisking, tasting and experimenting, our guests rediscovered how a humble ingredient can transform into something unexpectedly creative. Laughter and curiosity filled the room as flavours were combined and new favourites emerged.
Beyond the convivial atmosphere, the gathering carried an important message. In Switzerland alone, approximately 2.8 million tonnes of food waste are generated each year - around 330 kg per person. A statistic that invites reflection. Through practical solutions such as the IKEA 365+ containers, which accompanied our guests home filled with leftovers, the event demonstrated how small, design-led choices can support more sustainable everyday habits.
Shared plates, thoughtful conversations and conscious inspiration - a reminder that the most meaningful gatherings are those created with care.
